Post-Integration Pre-Launch Checklist

Has our team finished integrating the app onto your site? If so, we recommend checking the following options before launching.

Access ReCharge Dashboard

The Recharge Dashboard is your command center for managing subscription orders and customers. In Shopify go to Apps at the bottom left and click on the ReCharge app.

Create your First Subscription

If you have not created a real subscription for your products yet, it's the time to set that up.

For regular weekly, monthly or yearly subscriptions, you can check out our step-by-step guide found here on how to get started with subscriptions.
For pre-paid subscriptions, check out our guide on how to set up gift subscriptions.

Set up Payment Processor(s)

This guide will go over what you need to know about the available payment processors and links to setup guides once you've decided what you need.

Run a Test Subscription Order

Once you have our Rulesets created, you will want to make sure it's all running smoothly before launching your store. To run a test you will need to check out with a real payment method and then refund yourself. To ensure you don't miss anything, here's a guide on running a test transaction.

Configure Notification Emails

Notification emails will go to your customers when they order subscription products, or when they carry out certain actions, be sure to configure these emails to have the content you prefer.

Configure Customer Portal

Your customers can manage their subscriptions via their Customer Portal, they can access this via their Customer Account.

Configure Taxes and Shipping

This guide goes over taxes and what you need to know. Additionally, you will want to ensure you set up your Shipping the way you need it.

Turn the App On and go live!

We placed a toggle on your theme settings form where you can enable ReCharge. Feel free to let us know so we can keep an eye on your first few orders and ensure it's all running smoothly.

Optional: Manually Adding Customers or Subscriptions

If you ever need to manually set up a customer and subscription, you can do so by first manually creating the customer, then add the subscription product.
