Price Changes

In order to make changes to your products in Shopify, you must ensure ReCharge has the most up-to-date information by re-syncing your products.

How to Sync Your Products

1

In the ReCharge Dashboard go to Rulesets and select the desired rule.

2

Click Sync Subscription Product, seen below.

3

Click See Preview (pictured above) beside your product to see your changes reflected.

4

Syncing multiple products? Just hit Save at the bottom and it will re-sync all of the products in this rule.

Does Subscribe & Save reflect price changes?
Yes, it should do this by default on most Shopify themes. If you find yours is not behaving properly, it is likely that it is the rare theme that just needs a little extra attention to fix . Just reach out to our team and we'd be happy to help you ensure this displays the proper amount for your store.

Updating Existing Customers

Warning! If you change the price of a subscription by editing the product in Shopify, your existing subscribers will keep the old pricing by default.

The new customers will get the new price, and your existing customers will retain the old one. If you need to update the subscription price of a few existing customers, you can manually change the price of an existing customer:

1

Go to Customers and search for them and click their name.

2

Click See Details next to the Address ID at the top.

3

At the very top, you will see the price point for this product. Beside it, hit Edit and change the price. Be sure to Save.

More than a 50 customers need updating?

We will need to defer this to our development team to do via a database bulk update.

1

Download the Purchase Items Export CSV from Reports > Order Reports.

2

Create a new column at the right and label it NEW Price.

3

Insert the new price for each order, leaving unchanged records blank.

4

Once you've completed this, send the CSV file to the ReCharge team and we can perform the rest of the bulk update process on our end.
