Data is missing or does not match expectations in Analytics reports
When reviewing the Recharge Analytics, data appears to be missing or does not match with what is expected based on other reports.
There are a few reasons why data may not appear as anticipated in the Analytics reports.
Recharge Analytics refreshes data once a day between the hours of 12 AM EST and 6 AM EST and is displayed in Eastern time. Given this configuration, the current day's data will not be reflected in the report.
Analytics data is available from when you first activated Recharge. Recharge does not have access to data created before Recharge was installed. If you migrated your account to Recharge from another platform the subscription data from that platform will not be reflected on Recharge.
Comparison to other reports
When comparing between different analytics reports the data may appear slightly different depending on the type of data reflected on the specific report.
For example, on the Revenue dashboard, the AOV/ARPU numbers are focused on the cohort of customers that signed up in the period being filtered. For Industry Benchmarks, those numbers are not filtered by customer cohort.
Comparison to other Analytics platforms
It is recommended to choose one Analytics platform and use that as the source of truth for all of your store data. Comparing data across analytics platforms is not recommended due to the differences in calculation and data points accessed.
Review the Comparing Recharge Analytics to third-party platforms guide for further details.
