Why don't my sales match the forecasted amount from the Revenue Planning dashboard?

The Revenue Planning dashboard uses queued charges and forecasted checkouts to build the projected sales for the period. Forecasted checkouts look at historical data to estimate how many checkouts will come in.
Since this is an estimated amount there are a few factors that can impact the total sale amount that is processed in that period:
- Queued charges encounter charge or processing errors.
- Refunds are processed on charges that have been processed.
- Promotions are run on the store that impact checkout or recurring orders. Forecasting cannot account for promotions that are scheduled.
