If I set my charge day of the month to the 31st, what happens in shorter months?

If you set a specific charge day that falls at the end of the month, the system will automatically update the charge day to account for shorter months. For example, if you set the charge day to the 31st, customers would be charged on the 30th during months with only 30 days. The charge day then reverts back to the 31st in the longer months.
Note: The same logic will apply if using the 30th as your charge day on shorter months like February. For more cut-off window information check out our article on Creating Cut-off Windows.
If you use the customer's sign-up day rather than setting a specific charge date, the charge day is moved to the last day of the shorter month. For example, if the customer orders on January 31st and the frequency is set to monthly, their next order will be February 28th and the 28th will be used moving forward.
