Talkable is a referral program app for Shopify. Acquire high-value clients at a low cost, increase retention, and grow revenue through targeted referral and loyalty programs.
- Track Recharge orders on the initial and recurring charges. Note that cancelations or refunds are not supported at the moment.
- Display the Post Purchase campaign at the subscription checkout.
- Coupon auto-sync: Talkable will reward with coupons applicable on both Recharge and Shopify checkouts. The only caveat is that the offer needs to be equal for both Recharge and Shopify within the same campaign.
- Coupon auto-apply: Talkable will try to apply a coupon to the next charge of the customer’s subscription. This coupon will also be sent to the customer’s email in case they want to use it for Shopify instead.
The Gleam widget when enabled will be behaving differently depending on the customer’s actions, apart from default scenarios which are shown below:
The Advocate is a new customer and invites a new customer. The Friend uses the code for Shopify and Advocate gets the reward, then uses their code on Recharge to create a subscription.
During the shopping experience, customers are shown the Gleam widget with a coupon also informing them that in case they already have a subscription the reward can be applied there automatically. This coupon is still applicable in both Shopify and Recharge, but once the coupon is redeemed anywhere, it will be disabled.
- The customer makes a purchase on the Recharge checkout and sees the post-purchase campaign, then invites a Friend.
- The Friend accepts the invite and makes a purchase with a coupon attributed by Talkable (should be both Recharge and Shopify applicable).
- Talkable tracks Friend’s purchase and rewards the Advocate. Talkable attempts to apply their coupon to the next subsequent purchase in the Advocate’s subscription.
Note: This coupon will not be shown on the customer dashboard along with subscription details due to the backend limitation of Recharge.
- Talkable also sends a coupon to the customer’s email so they can apply it manually.
