Understanding the Recharge Account Access link
When customers check out with a subscription purchase, Recharge sends them a link they can use to create an account. Once logged in, customers can easily manage their subscription settings. Review Customer Accounts with the Shopify Checkout Integration or Customer Accounts with the Recharge Checkout on Shopify for more information.
Recharge adds an Account Access link to the Account Login page on your storefront to make it easier for customers to register their account post-checkout

Before you start
Customer accounts must be set to optional or required in Shopify for the Account Login page to be present on the storefront.
The purpose of the Account Access link
Recharge injects the necessary code to display the Account Access link on the Login page when you initially install Recharge into your store.
Your customers can use the Account Access link if they haven’t registered their account. By default, this link displays as Click here under the text "Need help accessing your subscriptions?".
If your customers have already registered their account through Shopify, they can log in through the Account Login page, and access the customer portal by clicking the Manage Subscriptions link.
This link prompts customers with an option to request an email that provides directions to properly configure their Shopify account, as well as a direct link to their customer portal.
Once a customer has entered their email address and clicked Get subscription login, they are redirected to a new page letting them know that an email will be sent with an account invite if they are a subscription customer.
Request account invite notifications
If the email a customer uses to check out matches an existing subscription customer in the Shopify store, an email is sent to the email address provided. The email will always contain the direct Manage Subscriptions link. Depending on the customer’s status, one of the following messages is sent to help the customer access their account in the future.
The table below defines each scenario a customer can encounter during the account creation flow and the corresponding notification message they will see after completing a checkout.
