Klaviyo
Klaviyo is a powerful third-party app that Recharge integrates with, allowing you to take your customer notifications to the next level. Klaviyo can be used to create winback campaigns for customers who cancel, or target customers who abandoned their initial order. You can also replace select Recharge notifications with transactional emails sent by Klaviyo.

Benefits
The Klaviyo integration passes information directly to Klaviyo from Recharge, and stores that order and customer data at the Klaviyo customer profile level. With the Klaviyo integration you can:
- Create email flows leveraging Recharge metrics
- Leverage Quick Action URLs with both Klaviyo flows and campaigns
- Segment subscription customers for Klaviyo campaigns and email flows leveraging recharge customer properties
Install Klaviyo
Install the Klaviyo integration from your merchant portal:
- Click Apps from the navigation menu in your merchant portal.
- Select Marketplace from the Apps navigation options and find the Klaviyo integration. Select Get to begin the installation process.
- Click the Connect now button.
- You will be redirected to the Klaviyo page to accept the necessary permissions, called scopes. You must log in to your Klaviyo account to accept these scopes.
- After accepting the scopes you will be redirected back to Recharge where your Recharge customer custom properties will automatically be imported into Klaviyo. This process is called a backfill.
Update the Klaviyo integration
Updating to the latest version of Klaviyo takes less than five minutes and requires no downtime or interruptions to metric data being sent to Klaviyo, or custom property syncs. Any events that happen during the transition will be sent to Klaviyo as soon as the upgrade is complete.
- Click Apps from the navigation menu in your merchant portal.
- Click Installed from the Apps navigation options and select the Klaviyo integration to begin the upgrade process.
- Click the Upgrade now button.
- You will be redirected to the Klaviyo page to accept the necessary security permissions, called scopes. You must log in to your Klaviyo account to accept these scopes.
- You are redirected back to Recharge after accepting the scopes.
