Your customers may want to purchase your product as a gift for multiple people, especially around the holiday season. This guide provides instructions on how to set up multiple subscriptions with different shipping addresses.
Note: This article is applicable for Shopify merchants who installed ReCharge before November 2nd, 2020, and are using the ReCharge Checkout. Merchants who installed ReCharge after November 2nd, 2020 will need to direct their customers to go through the checkout again to purchase a subscription with a different shipping address.
Before you begin
The customer must have an existing account in ReCharge. The customer can either purchase the initial subscription through checkout using the first recipient's shipping address or you can add the customer manually.
Step 1 - Fill out address information
- In the ReCharge Dashboard go to Customers.
- Search and click on the name of the desired customer.
- In the top right click on Add New Address.
- Fill out the address information and click Save. The address will not save unless the customer has a valid zip code.
Step 2 - Add a product
On the customer account page, click on Add Product below the newly created address.
Click on the desired new product and click Add Product to add the selected product to the new address.
You will now have the new product visible within the subscription for the new address.
