Before you begin
- The Bulk Updater Tool is not compatible with pre-paid subscriptions. If you need to update a pre-paid subscription mid-cycle follow changing variants or products for prepaid subscriptions or contact the Recharge support team to update in bulk.
- The Bulk Updater Tool can update product titles, variant titles, price, and SKU overrides. If you need to update other data, please review Bulk updating subscription products and orders.
Step 1 - Request access
- In the merchant portal, click Apps and select Marketplace.
- Locate the Recharge Bulk Updater card and click Get.
Step 2 - Search for products
In the dropdown, select the search parameter you would like to use. In the search field, enter your search term. You can locate products using the following parameters:
- Product title
- Variant title
- Recurring price
- SKU
You also have the option to search multiple attributes simultaneously by selecting add another search filter.
The Bulk Updater Tool displays all the query matches and prompts you to export the current data as a CSV file so you have a record in case you need to revert your changes.
Step 3 - Process update
After exporting you will see a page listing the matching queries. From the Select property dropdown, select the parameter you would like to update:
- Product title
- Variant title
- Recurring price
- Quantity
- Shopify Variant ID
- SKU
In the property field, enter the new data. For example, if you are making a price update and changing the price from $10 to $20, you would enter 20 in this field.
When ready, click Process Update. A pop-up model will appear that will display a summary of changes about to be made.
Once you have reviewed the changes, click Make update. The process can take a few minutes, depending on how many products are being updated.
