Each ReCharge customer has a history log that details all actions taken on their customer record. This can include actions such as skipping an order, updating credit card information, canceling a subscription, and much more. This guide provides information on where to find action logs and understanding your customers' actions.
You can view customer actions directly in the customer account. To locate the history view, click the Customers tab at the top of the ReCharge dashboard and search and select the customer's name.
At the bottom of the following page, you will see a section titled History. In this section, you will see all the actions taken on the account by the customer, store staff, or ReCharge administrators.
History view - beta
ReCharge is in the process of developing a new history view for the customer account page. If you are part of this beta, your history view may look like this:
Updates to the history view include:
- Event grouping by date
- Detailed information in a nested dropdown
- Infinite scrolling to view more events
Customer actions report
You can email a CSV copy of the actions taken by your customers. In the ReCharge Dashboard, click the wrench icon and select Exports. The Actions report can be found under Customer exports.
Customer action notification
You can enable the customer action log notification and have a report emailed to you daily. To enable, click the wrench icon in the ReCharge Dashboard and select Notifications. On the following page, click Customer action log under Store owner notification.
On the Customer action log settings page, toggle the Status selector to enabled.
