Translations
By default, the Recharge Checkout and customer portal are in English. You can adjust the language translations and customize certain text elements to match your store's brand. This guide provides information on making adjustments to your store's translation settings for the Recharge Checkout and customer portal.
Access the Translation settings
- In the merchant portal, click Storefront and select Copy & Translations.
- The available Translation settings vary based on your e-commerce platform.
- All stores have access to Customer portal translation settings.
- Shopify Checkout Integration merchants can translate the checkout language directly from Shopify. See Shopify's Translating checkout fields guide for more details.
- Merchants using the Recharge Checkout on Shopify or the Shopify Checkout Integration have access to Quick Actions translation settings.
Each translation field expands, allowing you to adjust the text shown. Click Save once you've finished making your edits.
Customer Portal - Themes translations
The Customer Portal - Themes translation settings control the language used in the customer portal. All stores have access to these translation settings.

Checkout translations

These translation settings control the language used in the Recharge Checkout. If you use the Shopify Checkout Integration, you can adjust your checkout in Shopify by following Shopify's guide to translating the checkout.

Quick actions translations
- Recharge Checkout on Shopify
- Shopify Checkout Integration
Recharge Quick Actions are standard URLs you can include in your Klaviyo notifications that perform specific actions on their subscriptions. This translation setting allows you to customize the language used in Quick Actions.

This messaging is displayed to customers once the Quick Action is performed. Customers can click on the redirect text to navigate to a different part of the customer portal. |

Customize the Cancellation Reasons
You can customize the cancellation reasons prompted to your customers when managing their subscriptions, as well as adjust the cancellation button verbiage.
To change the cancellation reasons:
- In the merchant portal, click Storefront and select Customer Portal.
- Click into each reason listed under Cancellation with retention strategy, to make individual changes.
To change the button text:
- In the merchant portal, click Storefront and select Translations.
- Click the Customer portal tab.
- Click Cancellation with retention strategy.
- Edit the button text:
- Click Save when finished.
Translate the Request Account Access page
- Recharge Checkout on Shopify
- Shopify Checkout Integration
The Request Account Access page can be adjusted through the Translation settings.
- In the merchant portal, click Storefront and select Copy & Translations.
- Select Customer Portal - Themes and expand Request account invite.
- Update the applicable fields and click Save.
Translate the Need help accessing your subscriptions link
- Recharge Checkout on Shopify
To adjust the "Need help accessing your subscriptions?" link on the customer login page, adjust the code on your Shopify theme.
- In your Shopify Admin, click Online Store and select Themes.
- Click Actions and select Edit code.
- Open the subscription-account-login.liquid template file.
- Locate the Recharge code and adjust the

text as needed. - Click Save.
