A customer may reach out to request an update to their shipping address. Customers can make this update in the customer portal, but as the store owner you can also adjust the address directly in the merchant portal. This guide provides instructions on how to update a customer's shipping address.
Update shipping address
- In the merchant portal, click on the Customer tab and search for the customer. Click on the customer's name to open their account.
- Click Edit next to the address you would like to update on the customer's Subscription orders page.
- Update the shipping address and click Save.
Note: The customer's address will update on your eCommerce platform after the next recurring order is processed. If you want it to update immediately, you will need to update the customer's shipping address in your eCommerce platform as well.
Link customer to their shipping address page
If your customer portal settings allow customers to edit their shipping address, you can link your customer to this page directly.
- In the merchant portal, click on the Customer tab and search for the customer. Click on the customer's name to open their account.
- Hover over the link icon next to the customer's name to access and copy the page URL.
