The Cohort retention dashboard makes it easy to compare retention and sales across cohorts and within the cohort. This guide provides a breakdown of available data tables within the Enhanced Analytics feature and the information that can be gathered.
Before you start
This dashboard is only available to ReCharge Pro merchants with Enhanced Analytics. For more information about the feature, visit ReCharge Enhanced Analytics.
Customer with Active Subscriptions
The Customer with Active Subscriptions table shows the percent of customers with active subscriptions by cohort overtime.
Each row represents a different cohort of customers based on the month in which they signed up. Each column represents the month the data is being analyzed. This data shows the percentage of customers in each specific cohort who still have active subscriptions over each month.
MO 1 is the number of customers with an active subscription at the end of the cohort signup month. MO 2 is the number of customers with an active subscription at the end of the month following the cohort signup month. This continues for subsequent months (ie. MO 3, MO 4).
For example, for the 2019-02 cohort, MO 1 is the percent of cohort with active subscriptions at the end of February 2019 and MO 2 is the percent of the 2019-02 cohort with active subscriptions at the end of March 2019.
Total Sales
The Total Sales data table displays the total sales month over month broken down by cohort.
MO 1 is the total sales generated by the cohort within their signup month. MO 2 is the total sales generated by the cohort in the month following their signup month, which continues by subsequent months (MO 3, MO 4, and so on).
For example, for the 2019-02 cohort, MO 1 is the total sales that the cohort generated in February 2019 and MO 2 is the total sales that the 2019-02 cohort generated in March 2019.
Total Sales by Active Customer
The Total Sales by Active Customer data table calculates the total sales generated by each cohort in the timeframe and then divides that sum by the number of active customers each month. The result is a heat map showing the average total amount spent by each cohort month over month.
The Total Sales/Cohort Size column represents the average total amount spent by each customer in the cohort by adding the total sales for that cohort and dividing it by the number of customers in that cohort.
