Installing ReCharge through the Shopify App Store
- Go to the Shopify App Store and search for the ReCharge app listing.
- Click Add app. If are not logged into your Shopify store, enter your .myshopify.com URL and then click Log in.
- On the App Authorization screen, select Install app.
Once ReCharge is installed, you will advance through a set of onboarding steps, including setting up your first ruleset and adding your payment processor. For an overview, visit Getting started with ReCharge.
Installing ReCharge through the ReCharge website
You can also sign-up and install ReCharge directly from the ReCharge website:
- Visit the main page of rechargepayments.com.
- Click Start your 60-day trial.
- Enter your details, including name, email address, eCommerce platform.
- Click Submit.
Is ReCharge compatible with other eCommerce platforms?
Yes! Through the use of the ReCharge API, you can power subscriptions on your favorite ecommerce platform. For more information, submit a request via the ReCharge sign-up form.
How much does ReCharge cost to use?
ReCharge is free for the first 60 days. After 60 days, ReCharge has a base cost of $60.00 per month plus 1% + 5¢ on all transactions. The 1% fee for ReCharge is only based on what was charged during checkout, without shipping or taxes.
Can the fee go any lower than 1%?
ReCharge offers volume-based pricing to Pro plan merchants with monthly recurring subscription revenues greater than $100,000. To inquire about our volume-based pricing options, submit the Pro request form.
Can I migrate existing subscription customers to ReCharge?
Our dedicated migration staff can assist you during the import of your existing subscribers over to ReCharge, free of charge.
