Recharge Beta Program
The Recharge Beta Program enables our merchants and partners to get early access to new features and provide feedback to help improve functionality.
Purpose
- Beta testing new features enables merchants to get early access to upcoming features and integrations. Merchants get access to a more feature-rich software platform, adding additional value and flexibility to their ecommerce business.
- Recharge's Beta Program is designed as a mutually beneficial relationship with merchants. Recharge gathers feedback of merchant experiences with new features prior to being generally available and merchants gain access to future features today.
- The feedback merchants provide on quality and usability helps to identify and fix issues and gives you first access to a new feature. Your partnership helps make the Recharge platform even better.
- Recharge's goal with the Beta Program is to tackle any bugs that come up and mitigate any issues as quickly as possible as we approach a wider release for beta features. Your feedback is crucial and helps smooth out any rough edges.
Note: Beta features are likely to contain a number of known or unknown bugs and will typically have more bugs than a general release feature that has rolled out to all merchants. Recharge recommends that you initially test a beta feature in a development environment or on a small segment of customers whenever possible.
Status and eligibility
Beta releases change on a per-feature basis and can be open to the public or closed to a private, invite-only audience. Some beta features are in an extended beta phase due to continually adding new functionality to the feature.
Recharge may run multiple Beta Programs at one time. Each beta will have its own sign-up form and accepting the Beta Terms of Service for one beta does not automatically make you eligible or enroll you in another. If you have any questions about a specific beta or eligibility, reach out to the Recharge support team.
Feedback
Enrolling in a feature beta is the single best way to have a voice in future development on the Recharge platform. While in beta, features are constantly updated with new iterations up until the release and beyond.
Recharge actively encourages all beta testers to share their thoughts and suggestions for all usability and functionality concerns. You can reach out to the Recharge support team to share any feedback.
