Integrate Honeycomb with Recharge
Follow the steps below to install Honeycomb and connect it with Recharge, or view Honeycomb's step-by-step video.
- Visit Honeycomb's listing in the Shopify app store and click Add app. Follow the steps to install the app.
- Honeycomb will open in your Shopify store (or you can click Apps and select Honeycomb Upsell Funnels). Click I'm just playing around to continue setting up the integration.
- Click the Advanced tab in the Honeycomb admin.
- Locate the Recharge integration section and click Enable.
- Click Install to authenticate your Recharge account.
Create upsell funnels
There are two upsell funnels that we recommended to help you get started.
Recommended funnel - Upsell from one-time to a subscription
Offer customers who have a one-time product in their cart to upgrade to a subscription. Follow the steps below, or view Honeycomb's step-by-step video.
- In the Honeycomb admin, click the Funnels tab and select New Funnel.
- Select Cart Page for your upsell location.
- Select Add manually.
- Select Upsell for your offer type.
- Choose a trigger product that supports both a one-time purchase and a subscription.
- Choose Replace one-time with a subscription.
- Choose whether or not you want to offer a discount and fill out the fields accordingly.
- Click Save.
Recommended funnel - Upsell from a small subscription plan to a larger one
Offer customers who have a small subscription plan in the cart to upgrade to a bigger plan. Follow the steps below, or view Honeycomb's step-by-step video.
- Complete Steps 1 - 4 above.
- Choose a trigger product that supports both a one-time purchase and a subscription, or a subscription-only product.
- Choose Replace subscription variant with another.
- Choose a variant as a trigger and a variant as an offer.
- Choose whether or not you want to offer a discount and fill out the fields accordingly.
- Click Save.
