I already accepted Recharge's Terms of Service. Do I also need to accept the API Terms of Service?
Yes. The API Terms of Service (ToS) address terms specific using the Recharge API. Terms of Service are a standard industry practice that provides and requires consent on API-specific incidents not covered in the general ToS.
I cannot access payment API endpoints. How do I gain access?
When creating the API token you must set the token permissions to read and write access for payments in order to have access to those endpoints.
I already have access to API Tokens. Do I need to accept the API Terms of Service?
Yes. The API Terms of Service governs your use of the Recharge API. Acceptance of the API Terms of Service is required for your continued use of the Recharge API. Recharge reserves the right to eventually deactivate access to the API until the API Terms of Service is accepted.
I have a Recharge Admin account. Can I accept the Terms of Service on behalf of the store owner?
No, only the store owner or key decision-maker can accept the terms. Have the store owner log in to their account to review accept the Terms of Service.
Only the store owner has access to the API Tokens page by default. Once the store owner accepts the Terms of Service, they will need to update account permissions for additional users so that they can access the API Tokens page.
I am a developer and I had the storeowner accept the API Terms of Service. Why can I not see the API Tokens page?
Your Recharge account must have the correct API Tokens permissions to access the API Tokens page.
The store owner must manually update your account permissions to allow you to access the API Token page.
