Recharge Agency Partner Program
Recharge is on a mission to turn transactions into relationships through seamless subscription experiences.
Agencies have been core to the success of Recharge and our merchants from the very beginning. Agency partners help Recharge subscriptions come to life. As a Recharge agency partner, you get access to all of the tools, training, and responsive support you need to deliver frictionless subscriptions for your merchants. You also gain access to revenue share when you refer merchants to Recharge, introductions to merchants requiring agency support, and opportunities to contribute as thought leaders in our event and co-marketing initiatives.
Recharge Agency Partner mission
The Recharge Agency Partner Program gives partners the resources and tools to grow a robust subscription practice, while helping merchants benefit from the thriving subscription economy.

Application approval
To evaluate if your agency is a good fit for our Agency Partner Program, Recharge is interested in learning about your business service, typical client profile, your techstack, and other partnerships. Fill out our Agency Partner Application Form to get started.
Once the form is completed, someone from our team will review your application and if approved, you will be contacted to discuss next steps.
Partner terms
In order to participate in the Recharge Agency Partner Program, you must agree to the Terms or execute a Partner Agreement with Recharge.
Tiers
Partners will be reviewed for eligibility for tier promotions every quarter based on their performance over the prior 12 months and will keep the highest tier level they reached through the end of each calendar year.
At the end of every year, all partners will be readjusted within the tiers. Partners will be notified of any changes to their tier status. Recharge reserves the sole right to use discretion when evaluating a partner's tier eligibility.
Select and Premier requirements
Recharge brand visible on partner’s website
Partners who have achieved Select or Premier tier are required to mention Recharge on their website. This can include adding the Recharge logo, your partner tier badge, linking to the Recharge website, including a short blurb on Recharge, or building out a Subscription Landing Page, with reference to Recharge.
Subscription landing page
A subscription landing page is a great way to highlight your expertise in growing your subscription business. A framework with best practices and resources to support building out a subscription landing page on your website can be found in our How-to guide: Building a subscription landing page. Premier partners should target having a subscription landing page built within 6 months of attainment of their partnership status.
Minimum sales-qualified projects
For up-tiering, the trailing 12 months of sales-qualified projects are considered. Sales-qualified projects are any referred deals that are qualified and closed by the Recharge sales team.
Enablement of sales teams & project teams
In order to provide the best experience for our merchants, Recharge wants partners to be up to date on the latest Recharge product features and updates and require that both project and sales teams attend enablement sessions.
Annual co-marketing commitments
Co-marketing is an important element in driving continued growth and success of our partnership. This can take many forms - from content creation of case studies and blogs to running co-branded webinars and events - and the Recharge Agency Partner team will work collaboratively with you to determine what makes the most sense given the partnership stage, available funding and the tactics that you’ve found work best for your business.
Premier partners will have a dedicated Partner Marketing Manager who will work collaboratively with you to build out an annual co-marketing plan with the goal of executing a minimum of 4 joint activities throughout the year.
Co-marketing with Select partners will be opportunistic, with the goal of completing at least one co-marketing activity per year. The Agency Partner will share content templates for our flagship pieces that all partners can use to help build visibility around the Subscriptions commerce opportunity. Sales & marketing resources are located within the partner content hub in the partner portal.
Program Benefits
Revenue Share (Commissions)
Partners are generally eligible for 12 months of revenue share for qualified merchant referrals. For more details on revenue share, please refer to the Terms.
Referrals
To make a merchant referral, you should complete the Referral form. If the referral is accepted, someone from our team will reach out.
Store attribution
If a referral has been accepted and the merchant purchases Recharge services, we will attribute the store to your account for revenue share based on the first purchase date of Recharge services.
In order to appropriately pay partners a commission under the Recharge Agency Partner Program, Recharge attributes Qualified Merchants (as defined in the Terms) to the referring partner agency. If a partner believes that a Qualified Merchant was not accurately attributed to their agency, the partner has 90 calendar days from the merchant’s first invoice from Recharge to notify Recharge. After this 90-calendar day period, the partner is no longer eligible to earn a commission for such merchant.
You can notify Recharge of a missing attribution by emailing partneradmin@rechargeapps.com.
Partner Manager
Recharge Agency Partner Managers serve as an extension of your agency within Recharge. They identify opportunities to help you achieve revenue and growth targets, enable you on how to sell and implement the Recharge product, help you navigate Recharge teams to support your merchants on implementations, and identify opportunities for collaboration. They act as a direct point of contact for elevating your relationship with Recharge and act as an internal champion for our partnership.
Recharge merchant referrals
Merchants often ask our team to recommend partners when they require agency support. Based on the project scope, merchant territory, and merchant budget, the Managed Services or Sales team will work with the Partner team to introduce agencies to the merchant, prioritizing agencies in the Premier tier. Merchants with small project needs, often identified by Recharge Customer Support, will be referred to the Recharge Agency Partner Directory.
Partner directory listing
All partners have the ability to create a directory listing on our Recharge Agency Partner Directory. Merchants use the directory to find and connect with Agency partners that can help them with their Recharge projects. By creating a directory listing, a partner is authorizing Recharge to share the information provided and such information is subject to Recharge’s Privacy Policy.
